Our mission is to provide our patients and referring clinicians with timely, evidence-based, and cost-effective treatment options for spine and musculoskeletal conditions.
Utilizing the most current innovative diagnostic and therapeutic techniques, our physiatrists and interventional pain specialists offer patients and athletes a multitude of options for improving daily function, quality of life, return to sports, and peak performance.
We work collaboratively with some of the best local physical therapists, neurosurgical and orthopedic surgeons to bring every patient to a desirable outcome.
Meet the Doctors
Dr. Ali Mostoufi
Dr. Mostoufi is a founding member of New England Spine Care and Boston Regenerative Medicine.
He completed his Rehabilitation Medicine residency at Tufts University where he served as Chief Resident. He completed his Pain fellowship at Harvard Medical School. Dr. Mosotufi an Associate Professor in PM&R at Tufts University and is dual board-certified
Dr. Mostoufi is the former Associate Chairman of Tufts PM&R and had been teaching residents since 2004. Over the past two decades, he has practiced Spine Care and Interventional Pain management at nationally recognized facilities including MGH Spine Center, MGH Pain Center, BIDMC Spine Center, and Center for Musculoskeletal Medicine at Tufts Medical Center.
Dr. Mosotufi is the Editor in Chief of the textbook "Clinical Guide to Musculoskeletal Medicine (published 03/2022 by Springer) and has authored multiple articles and book chapters relevant to his area of expertise in spine care and musculoskeletal conditions.

1st in NE to perform US-guided Carpal Tunnel release 2021
1st in NE to perform intradiscal PRP (2009)

Dr. Robert Rosenberg
Dr. Rosenberg is a founding member of New England Physiatry. He Graduated from BU Medical School and completed his Pediatric residency at Children’s Hospital of North California in Oakland. He then completed his residency training in Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation at Albert Einstein College of Medicine where he served as Chief Resident.
He completed a Sports Medicine fellowship at Hospital for Joint Disease – Orthopedic Institute in NY before moving back to MA. Dr Rosenberg is an Associate Professor in PM&R at Tufts University School of Medicine where he has been recognized for teaching excellence.
Over the past 20 years, he has practiced Adolescent and Adult Spine Care at nationally recognized facilities including BIDMC Spine Center. Dr. Rosenberg is Board Certified in Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation
